'Because Of You, Your Love And Example': Mother's Day Photos

GRAFTON, MA—Whether it's through his or her personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, a daughter or son becomes a reflection of the woman who raised that child. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Massachusetts to share their "mother-daughter" or "mother-son" lookalike photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are; they'll always be your babies!

These photos, submitted by Kelly Lima, includes a stitch-pic photo of the she and her daughter Gianna at the same age and another at their "real" ages. They are from Grafton. The photos were submitted in honor of Lima's mom, Debbie Wynne. Lima is adopted and thanks her mom Wynne for making it possible to be a mom herself.

To my Mom who is now lovingly referred to as Bee: Because of you, your love and example I get the lucky job of being this gorgeous and bubbly little girl's mom. Thank you for your guidance and example. If I can be half the mama you continue to be to me, then my baby girl will be lucky too!
