Grafton Player Signs With NFL
This Assumption grad and Grafton native just signed a contract with the Colts.

A Grafton native and Assumption College and Holy Name High School grad was just signed on to the Indianapolis Colts.
The Worcester Telegram and Gazette reported that Nick Haag, a linebacker who played football at both Assumption and Holy Name, signed a three-year contract with the NFL franchise.

Haag graduated Assumption College in 2013. The 6’2” 250-pound athlete has been playing with the Cedar Rapids Titans indoor league for the past two years. According to Assumption’s announcement, Haag played in all 13 games with the team, leading with 94 tackles.
At Assumption, Haag was a two-time Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference honoree, as well as team captain in 2012 and a two-time Worcester Area First Team All-Star. There, he racked in 118 tackles, with his top season in 2011, when he posted 45 tackles that included 15.5 tackles for a loss of 69 yards.
