UPDATED: Hamilton-Wenham Charities to Support Before 2015 Ends

HAMILTON-WENHAM, MA - With just a few days left in 2015, many look to nonprofits and charities to make a tax deductible donation to before the year’s end. Below is a list of some nonprofit organizations in town. Click on the links for more information.

The Hamilton-Wenham Education Fund

• The Hamilton Wenham Education Fund is an independent, non-profit organization committed to advancing educational excellence in the Hamilton Wenham regional schools.

Wenham Museum

• The Wenham Museum works to protect, preserve and interpret the artifacts of childhood, domestic life, and the history and culture of Boston’s North Shore.

Friends of Hamilton-Wenham Public Library

• The Friends of Hamilton-Wenham Public Library works to provide programs and resources, such as museum passes, artwork and technology, for all in our community.

Wenham Village Improvement Society

• The Wenham Village Improvement Society is a philanthropic organization that works to benefit the community, including scholarships to students residing in Wenham.

The Community House of Hamilton & Wenham

• The Community House sponsors cultural, social, educational and recreational programs for adults and children.

The Musary

• The Musary, JRP Inc. takes monetary and instrument donations to purchase new instruments or repair and refurbish well-loved instruments and offer them for loan. The nonprofit works with school music programs and local musicians and serves much of the New England area.

The Hamilton Foundation

• The Hamilton Foundation helps meet unexpected, urgent, and short-term needs of of Hamilton residents due to job loss, death, divorce or catastrophic illness.
