Andrews Finalist for Top Post in Pepperell

Mark Andrews, the town administrator in Wenham, is a finalist for a similar job in Pepperell.

Andrews was interviewed earlier this week and a final pick is expected by Monday, according to a report by the Lowell Sun.

He was one of three finalists to meet with the Pepperell Board of Selectmen in an open session and told the board he is“a doer.”

Pepperell is a town of 11,000 residents in Middlesex County, along the New Hampshire border west of Lowell.

Andrews came to Wenham in 2012 from Wareham, taking over for Jeff Chelgren who became the town administrator in Marblehead after working in Wenham for a decade.
