Bay Road Closed Tuesday After Car Crash

The Hamilton Fire Department freed two people from a car after it crashed into a tree on Bay Road.

HAMILTON, MA – Hamilton Police and Fire worked to free two people trapped in a car after a crash on Bay Road on Tuesday.

The road was closed for roughly 40 minutes while the people were freed from the car, which was on its side and had the airbags deployed, according to the town and Hamilton Police Lt. Scott Janes.

The Wenham Fire Department assisted the effort. The driver and passenger were taken to Beverly Hospital, and the crash is under investigation.
