Hamilton Parking Ban Ends Sunday Afternoon

The on-street snow emergency parking ban in Hamilton is over at 4 p.m. on Sunday, according to town officials.

A Connect-CTY message from the Hamilton Emergency Center went out on Sunday afternoon at about 3 p.m., announcing that Hamilton Police Chief Russell Stevens lifted the ban as of 4 p.m. on Sunday. It had been in place since midday Thursday.

It was the first parking ban of the winter in Hamilton. The ban did not allow any on-street parking in any part of the town, except by Fire Department, Police Department and Department of Public Works vehicles. Violators were subject to a $20 ticket and the possibility of having their vehicle towed.
