The following is an excerpt from the Hamilton Police log:
Thursday, August 4
- A citation was issued to a driver at 8:54 a.m. along Highland Street.
- A citation was issued to a driver at 9:07 a.m. along Highland Street.
- At 9:15 a.m. police responded to an animal call on Bay Road.
- Police responded to another animal call on Walnut Road at 10:51 a.m.
- A citation was issued to a driver at 11:38 a.m. along Whipple Road.
- A verbal warning was given to a driver on Asbury Street at 11:53 a.m.
- Police checked out a suspicious vehicle at 12:21 p.m. at Railroad Avenue and Highland Street. A non-criminal citation was issued.
- A driver was stopped and issued a citation at 12:39 p.m. at Linden and Union streets.
- Police responded to an animal call at 2:03 p.m. on Gardner Street.
- Services were rendered for a small fire at 2:46 p.m. on Chebacco Road.
- A verbal warning was given to a motorist on Bay Road at 3:36 p.m.
- Police took a report of larceny at 3:46 p.m.
- Police issued a citation to a motorist on Walnut Road at 5:06 p.m.
- A citation was given to a motorist on Bay Road at 5:27 p.m.
- Police responded to an animal call at 7:48 p.m. on Sagamore Street.

- Police responded to an animal call at 8:08 a.m. on Sagamore Street.
- Police issued a citation to a motorist on Bay Road at 10:17 a.m.
- Police investigated a report of vandalism at 11:24 a.m. on Chebacco Road.
- The Fire Department extinguished a brush fire on Bay Road at 2:44 p.m.
