Mosquito-Spraying Exemptions Guidelines Now Available
The situation has changed a bit since last year, so if you want your property excluded from spraying, you need to read this.

The Northeast Mosquito Control District must now follow stricter guidelines when it comes to exempting properties from spraying for mosquitos.
According to a post on the Town of Hamilton website, the state legal department recently made a determination that requires residents to follow a specific protocol if they wish their property to be excluded from mosquito control.
Under the determination, residents must notify the Office of the Town Clerk by certified mail prior to March 1 of each year in order to be excluded. The application for exclusion will be good from April 1 of that year through March 31 of the next year.
