• Haverhill High Students Put on Winter Concert Wednesday Night (whav.net) — Haverhill families can catch Haverhill High School’s Winter Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. in the school auditorium on Monument Street. Student choirs and bands will perform holiday favorites, alumni are invited onstage for the finale, and a suggested $5 donation supports the school’s music programs.
   

• Haverhill Looks to Mandatory Water Restrictions During Ongoing Drought, Borrow for Clement Farm (whav.net) — Haverhill officials are weighing mandatory water restrictions and major spending on Clement Farm upgrades, land conservation, and youth mental health grants at tonight’s City Council meeting. Councilors will also revisit a propane storage permit, hear about Whittier Tech’s new admissions lottery, and consider new highway trucks, with residents able to attend in person or watch live.
   

• Haverhill man charged in deadly wrong-way crash on Route 128 in Danvers (nbcboston.com) — A Haverhill resident has been charged in connection with a wrong-way crash on Route 128 in Danvers that left a New Hampshire man dead. Prosecutors say the 42-year-old driver faces motor vehicle homicide and other charges, is barred from driving, and remains free only under strict bail conditions while the case proceeds.
