• MASSACHUSETTS: Boston Harbor shellfishing poised to reopen after a century (savingseafood.org) — Parts of Hingham’s shoreline in Boston Harbor are poised to reopen for shellfishing after being closed to direct harvest for nearly a century. Thanks to major water-quality improvements, sections of harbor in Hingham, Winthrop, and Hull may soon allow both commercial and recreational shellfishers to collect clams and other shellfish for direct consumption. 
• Averill And Daley Hat Tricks Lift U.S. Past Slovakia, 13-0 (usahockey.com) — A Hingham native, forward Annabelle Lovell, scored in Team USA’s dominant 13-0 win over Slovakia at the IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship, helping kick off the tournament in style. The Americans outshot Slovakia 75–5, with multiple hat tricks and a record-setting shutout in goal as they head into their next game against Czechia.
