• MASSACHUSETTS: Boston Harbor shellfishing poised to reopen after a century (savingseafood.org) — Shellfishing areas off Hingham’s shoreline in Boston Harbor are close to reopening for direct harvest after being closed for nearly a century due to past contamination. Improved water quality from the harbor cleanup could soon let both commercial and recreational diggers collect shellfish for personal use or direct sale, potentially boosting local access to fresh seafood and waterfront activity.
