5 Things: National Drug Take Back, HPTA Carnival
Our weekday morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.

1. Ayla Brown at Pejamajo: You've seen her on American Idol and you've heard her perform the national anthem at many sporting events, now it's time to see Ayla Brown in person. She will be performing at Pejamajo tonight at 9 p.m., tickets cost $10 each.
2. HPTA Carnival: The HPTA invites Hopkinton residents to their annual Carnival starting Saturday at 10 a.m. on the town common. There will be inflatables, games, arts and crafts, carnival food, entertainment and much, much more. Showers are expected in the morning and if needed a rain date has been set for Sunday, Sept. 30.
3. Baypath Humane Fundraiser: From Baypath's event listing: "Our Yard Sale is HUGE!! Hundreds of items for sale. Get great bargains, knowing every dollar spent will directly support Baypath's work! Furniture, small household appliances, baby products, books, toys, sporting goods and much, MUCH more!!" Check out the yard sale on Saturday at the shelter starting at 8 a.m.

4. Drug Take Back: Saturday is national drug take back day. It's an opportunity for residents to get rid of old prescriptions and narcotics that are lying around their house free of charge. Holliston Police and Hopkinton Police will have anonymous drop-off points set up at their stations.
5. Business Owners On Display: Jan Lewis, Host of "Be My Guest!", Upton's cable television interview program, has a passion for helping people get the word out about what they do and to hopefully connect with others who share their interest.
