The Holliston Fire Department has submitted its log from the week.

Friday, April 26

11:45 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical on Sweetgrass Lane. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

8:35 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical on Concord Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

10:45 pm: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy, Weekend Duty Officers Captain Michael Curnyn and Lieutenant Daniel Moulton, and Engines 2 and 3 responded to an alarm activation on Turner Road.

 12:16 am: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical on Locust Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

9:56 am: Investigation – Weekend Duty Officers Captain Michael Curnyn and Lieutenant Daniel Moulton investigated a possible transformer fire on Cabot Road.

10:19 am: Investigation – Weekend Duty Officers Captain Michael Curnyn and Lieutenant Daniel Moulton investigated a permit fire on Bullard Street.

12:48 pm: Brush Fire – Deputy Jim Moore, Weekend Duty Officers Captain Michael Curnyn and Lieutenant Daniel Moulton, and Engine 4 responded to a brush fire on Adams Street.

2:32 pm: Medical – The ambulance was dispatched to a medical on Central Street.  The ambulance was cancelled prior to arrival.

2:46 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical on Fisher Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

4:25 pm: Brush Fire – Deputy Jim Moore, Weekend Duty Officer Lieutenant Daniel Moulton, Ladder 1 and Engines 1 and 3 responded to a brush fire on Tracy Lynn Road.

4:27 pm: Brush Fire – Deputy Jim Moore, Weekend Duty Officers Captain Michael Curnyn and Lieutenant Daniel Moulton, Forest Fire 1 and Engine 4 responded to a brush fire on Prentice Street.

6:47 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical on Bogastow Brook Road.

12:34 pm: Brush Fire – Deputy Jim Moore, Weekend Duty Officer Lieutenant Daniel Moulton, Forest Fire 3 and Engine 4 responded mutual aid to Hopkinton for a three alarm brush fire off Clinton Street.

1:24 pm: Investigation - Weekend Duty Officer Captain Michael Curnyn investigated smoke in the area of Highland Street.

1:57 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical on Kathryn Lane. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Natick.

2:09 pm: Station Coverage – Engine 2 responded mutual aid to Medway for station coverage, while Medway firefighters battled a two alarm garage fire on Broad Street.

3:57 pm: Investigation – Weekend Duty Officer Captain Michael Curnyn, Engine 1 and Forest Fire 1 investigated illegal burning on Prentice Street.

9:26 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical on Church Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

1:25 pm: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy investigated smoke in the area of Fiske Street near the Sherborn town line.  Sherborn Fire was contacted regarding a permit fire on their Mill Street.

12:07 pm: Brush Fire – Tanker 1, Engine 4 and personnel from Engine 2 responded mutual aid to Medway for a two alarm brush fire on Clark Street.
