Local Dog Lovers Help Support Holliston's K9 Unit
Dogs and humans gathered in Holliston to benefit the Holliston's police dog unit.
The second annual dog walk brought dozens of local residents to Holliston on Sunday for an event that benefited the town's newly-founded K9 unit.
Last year's walk brought in more than $5,000 for the Holliston Police Department's effort to purchase and train a police dog. This year, donations will help offset the K9 unit's ongoing training and equipment costs.
"It's great to have the community out here showing their support," said Matt Stone, the head of Holliston's K9 unit.
