Paws to Read, HBA Says Thank You, and More

Here are a few things to keep in mind today, Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013. 

• Children in grades 2 and up are invited to Paws to Read with Penny the Therapy Dog at the Holliston Public Library today (Dec. 19) at 6:30 p.m. Register in advance for a 15-minute time slot. 

• Be sure to visit the Holliston Business Association Facebook page to read the HBA's thank you for another successful Holiday Stroll.   

• The Hopkinton Senior Center will show the Christmas movie, "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, today (Dec. 19) at 1 p.m.

• The Holliston Public Library is looking for a part-time library technician to work Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Fridays 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the main desk and in the children’s room; must also work one Sat per month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the summer). Rate: $12.28 per hour.

• The Hopkinton School Committee will meet tonight (Dec. 19) at 7:30 p.m. in the Hopkinton Middle School library. Agenda HERE.
