Boston Officers Visit Jamaica Plain Residents at JP Licks for 'Coffee With a Cop'
Police and residents spoke about public safety concerns and possible solutions.

Residents and community members in Jamaica Plain recently had the chance to sit down with several officers and officials from the Boston Police Department as part of BPD’s ongoing “Coffee with a Cop” program.
The group gathered at JP Licks on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain to speak with community members and residents about local safety issues, concerns and possible solutions, the BPD said Thursday

Boston Police Superintendent Bernard O’Rourke, Dep. Nora Baston, Dep. Norma Ayla Leong, Captain Al Anders joined officers from the Boston Police Department’s District E-13 station in Jamaica Plain, as well as the BPD’s Neighborhood Watch Unit for the visit; those who took part in the hour-long discussion received a complimentary cup of coffee, courtesy of the Boston Police Athletic League, according to Boston police.
