Clear Channel Outdoor Supports Thanksgiving Fundraiser

New Partnership with Community Servings will Amplify 30th Annual Initiative, Providing Life-Saving Meals for Those in Need

Clear Channel Outdoor Americas - Boston (CCOA) (NYSE: CCO) is supporting Community Servings of Jamaica Plain this holiday season to help provide life-saving meals to individuals and families experiencing critical or chronic illness and nutrition insecurity. CCOA’s commitment includes donating space on digital billboards across Greater Boston to promote ‘Pie in the Sky,’ the Community Servings annual fundraising Thanksgiving Bake Sale, now in its 30th year. CCOA is committed to addressing hunger and nutrition insecurity in our communities and is partnering with Community Servings to help our most vulnerable neighbors this holiday season.

Community Servings’ mission is to actively engage the community to provide scratch made, medically tailored meals to individuals and their families experiencing critical or chronic illness and nutrition insecurity. In all its programs, the organization is committed to prioritizing racial and economic justice and health equity. Community Servings envisions a world where everyone has access to the nutritious food they need for health and wellbeing as a fundamental right.

“This generous billboard donation is helping us trend toward our fundraising goal of $1 million and we are currently 30% ahead of where we were last year,” said Ryan Levasseur, Communications Director at Community Servings. “The extra visibility provided by Clear Channel Outdoor deserves a lot of credit for our success.”

“Food and nutrition insecurity is having a devastating impact, and the need is greater than ever across our communities,” said Rick Waechter, president, CCOA-Boston. “Community Servings is doing the admirable work needed to provide proper meals to people and families most in need and we are proud to support this worthwhile mission and help people during the holidays and throughout the year.”

CCOA also provided a monetary donation and employees volunteered in the Community Servings kitchen in Jamaica Plain, where they helped make 5,000 meals in a single day. The company’s employees will return for additional volunteer shifts throughout the season.
