The suspect, who was also a reverend, shot the teenager in the back of the head.

A former staff member at a Jamaica Plain high school, who was arrested for allegedly trying to kill a teenager, made his first appearance in Superior Court Wednesday after his indictment on several charges.
Fifty-five-year-old Shaun Harrison was arraigned on charges of armed assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, unlawful possession of a shotgun, unlawful possession of a rifle, and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
According to a recent press release, Harrison, while employed at English High School in Jamaica Plain, recruited a 17-year-old EHS student to sell marijuana. Harrison allegedly arranged for another student to attack him at the school when he was dissatisfied with his sales.
