William Ambroult, 40, was taken into custody the night of Oct. 8 after the victim was able to positively identify him. Ambroult approached the victim and demanded he give over all his money. Ambroult displayed what appeared to be a handgun, but police never found a weapon, according to an MBTA Police report.
