Mr. Doran was a tutor at our school for the previous nine months. Mr. Doran, like all tutors at Match, was subject to a Criminal Offender Registry check before he began his service with us. Mr. Doran passed that background check.   Following this incident, Mr. Doran, who was not a classroom teacher, is no longer serving as a tutor at Match.  We have no knowledge, nor any reason to believe, that any staff, teachers, or students were involved in this matter or were in danger in any way. We are cooperating completely with the police investigation, and are conducting our own internally. We are sharing all appropriate information with our staff, students and families to assure them of the safety of our school.
