Bay State Bike Week comes to and end, but readers had a lot to say about the state's bike-friendly week.

Bay State Bike Week ends today, but readers had a lot to say about the week in the form of comments on an informational blog post.

The comments mostly consisted of the bike vs. cars "who obeys the law" debate.

Reader Harriet said: "...Most cyclists actually obey the law..."

Reader Austin said: "Cyclists should follow the rules of the road. The police need to start ticketing cyclists that run red lights, pass on the left, etc."

Reader Bulldog added later in the thread: "I am all for bicycle lanes etc as soon as bicycles are taxed just like cars. Maybe $50 a year?"
