Teen Arrested on Firearm, Trespassing Charges in Jamaica Plain
Boston police responded to an incident at the Bromley Street Housing Development.
Boston police arrested a teenager from Jamaica Plain Saturday night after questioning a group of individuals gathered in a no trespassing area at the Bromley Heath Housing Development.
Officers responded to 277 Centre Street around 9:30 p.m. They had been on directed patrol in the area following recent incidents involving gun violence and gang activity. Police noticed a group of males gathered in the no trespassing area and proceeded to question them.
Fray Silvestre, 18, was frisked and found to be in possession of a loaded revolver. He was placed under arrest without incident, police said.

Sylvester was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm and trespassing.
