Lexington To Host Virtual Coronavirus Forum
The Lexington Office of Public Health and the Lexington Public Schools are set to update residents Thursday on their COVID-19 response.
LEXINGTON, MA — Officials are set to update the public on the ongoing coronavirus response in Lexington.
According to a statement from the Lexington Office of Public Health and Lexington Public Schools, the virtual forum will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12.
The informational forum will be held as a virtual live stream available on LexMedia.org and on Comcast 8, RCN 3 and Verizon 35, and in HD on RCN 613.

The public will not be allowed to attend the forum in person.

Officials from the town and school department, along with community leaders and health experts, are set to share facts about the new coronavirus and answer the community's questions during the live stream.
Topics will include:
- The latest update on COVID-19
- How officials will communicate updates to the public, and where to find the most up-to-date information
- Ways to prepare and stay healthy
- The Office of Public Health, Board of Health, and School Department’s authority and role in monitoring and addressing COVID-19
After a discussion from leaders, panelists will answer questions sent in via Twitter and Lexington's webform. To ask questions, use the hashtag #LexTalkHealth or submit during or before the event at LexingtonMA.gov/LexTalkHealth.
