A Lexington man recently made a big find while out using his metal detector.  Curtis Massey, of Lexington, posted on <a href="http://myfinds.metaldetector.com/diamond-in-the-rough" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Metaldector.com</a> that while detecting near a Lexington school he came upon a nice treasure.  Massey said in the post that he almost ignored the beep of his detector, figuring the find would turn out to be nothing more than another tab from a can. However, he decided to do some digging and it turns out he was lucky to follow that impulse.  He pulled a 14 Karat gold chain with a diamond pendant out of the ground.  <a href="http://myfinds.metaldetector.com/diamond-in-the-rough" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Click here to see the full story and a picture of the chain and pendant</a>.
