The Lexington Board of Health has lifted the town-wide indoor mask mandate, which includes mask requirements in schools and school busses.

Individual businesses, places of worship or venues have the right to require patrons to wear a mask in their facility if they so choose. 

The State Mask Mandate is still in effect, requiring masks to be worn in most transportation and healthcare settings. See the State Mask Mandate.

The Lexington Board of Health continues to recommend getting the COVID-19 vaccine and booster, staying home when you feel sick, and testing for COVID 19 when appropriate.

The Board of Health also supports the continuation of mask wearing according to individual preferences, and urges all residents to show kindness and inclusivity for those with a wide range of needs in our community.
