Lexington School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

LEXINGTON, MA — The first day of school in Lexington is August 29 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Lexington School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/24 - 10/25: Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences/Half Day
• 10/31: Elementary Parent Teacher Conference /Half Day

November

• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/7: MS Parent Teacher Conference/Half Day
• 12/14: MS Parent Teacher Conference/Half Day
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/10: Half Day (Professional Learning Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
