Middle School Students Present Original Play
The Diamond Middle School Drama Club will be presenting "Beyond Rhyme or Reason" on Friday.

Lexington middle schoolers will be taking to the stage Friday evening.
On Friday, November 8, bring the family to Diamond Middle School Drama Ensemble’s performance of Beyond Rhyme or Reason, an original play created and directed by teacher, Kate Bromley.
Performances at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
"The play is inspired by Ms. Bromley’s love of poetry and spoken art and features poems by Edgar Allan Poe, Tupac Shakur, Langston Hughes, Robert Frost, Lewis Carroll, Shel Silverstein, Maya Angelou, and others," an event posting says. "Students explore the rhyme, meter, and themes of poems that range from serious to nonsensical, thought-provoking to entertaining."
The 7 p.m. show opens with a performance by the Middle School Jazz Ensemble, directed by Toby Forman.
