Police Log: Sunroof Smash-and-Grabs and Several Arrests

Friday, June 7

8:49 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in on Pear Tree Drive, Peter D. Neusner, 22, of 62 Judson St., Malden, was arrested on two default warrants out of Melrose for breaking-and-entering and other charges.

1:13 p.m. – Detectives in East Lexington recognized a person with a warrant out for his arrest and, as a result, Jeffrey Allan Bailey Jr., 19, of 31 Davison St., Hyde Park, was arrested on a warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court for armed robbery.

Monday, June 10

9:02 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a cell phone stolen on Worthen Road.

12:57 p.m. – Police responded to a report of malicious destruction of property on Hamblen Street.

5:46 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Walnut Street and Potter Pond, James William Uva, 22, of 115 Channing Road, Belmont, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended, illegal possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) and a Belmont warrant.

8:09 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic on Bedford Street. After a short search of the area, Garsne C. LaFontant, 20, of 217 Grove St., Waltham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Tuesday, June 11

9:41 a.m. – A Leroy Road resident notified police of a possible Craig’s List scam.

3:33 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street.

4:10 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Marrett Road.

4:15 p.m. – A rollover accident was reported in the area of Concord Avenue and Spring Street.

11:32 p.m. – A computer was reported stolen from Fifer Road.

Wednesday, June 12

9:52 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Lowell Street and Peartree Drive, Konstantinos Z. Kollias, 27, of 10 Liana St., Woburn, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended and red light violation.

12:19 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Pleasant Street and Route 2.

1:05 p.m. – Police responded to a reported past breaking-and-entering on East Emerson Road, where silverware was missing.

2:29 p.m. – Police responded to a report of vandalism on Drummer Boy Way.

4:15 p.m. – An Arcola Street resident reported his daughter stole his checkbook and cashed a check. Officers are investigating.

8:25 p.m. – Police responded to Whipple Road for a reported incident between two juveniles at Clarke Middle School. Officers are looking into it.

11:40 p.m. – A noise complaint came in from Middleby Road.

Thursday, June 13

8:08 a.m. – A Fuller Road resident reported a laptop stolen from a car after a breaking and entering through the sunroof.

10:26 p.m. – Police responded to a report of dumpsters being dragged down the street on Linmoor Terrace.

1:23 p.m. – A Bertwell Road resident reported the sunroof of a motor vehicle was smashed and a laptop taken from inside.

4:19 p.m. – A plumbing tool was reported stolen from the parking lot of a Bedford Street business.

10:13 p.m. – A noise like a gunshot was reported in the area of Granger Pond Way.
