LEXINGTON, MA — The area's first major snow storm of the season is set to hit Wednesday night and Lexington is trying to get ahead of the cleanup by postponing trash delay.

E.L. Harvey & Sons has postponed curbside collection of trash and recycling for Thursday due to the storm. This includes white goods (appliances) or TVs and computers. The town is urging residents not to put their trash out on Thursday.

The rest of the week will be on a one-day delay for trash pickup.
