Two Men Arrested for Driving Under the Influence

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, August 31-

Arrest: Police arrested Lucas Benjamin Snyder, 18, of 7 Wingate Road, Lexington, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a minor transporting alcohol and a marked lane violation. The arrest was made a callers reported hearing car racing and a possible crash. Police located the vehicle which had a deployed driver's side airbag and was away from the scene of the accident.  

At 3:34 p.m. a Worthen road caller reported the left of a bicycle.

At 4:54 p.m. a Stedman Road caller reported a hit and run accident with property damage.

Sunday, September 1-

Police arrested Michael Thomas Cahill, 26, of 245 Bedford St., Lexington, on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and leaving the scene of property damage. Arrest made at 2:42 a.m. on Bedford Street.

At 3:37 a.m. police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue location on a report of vandalism.

At 4:05 p.m. a Bridge Street caller reported a sick raccoon.


Monday, September 2-

At 11:39 a.m. a Hayden Avenue caller reported a sick raccoon.

At 12:19 p.m. a Massachusetts Avenue caller reported a hit and run accident with damage.

At 9:20 p.m. police report a traffic violation. Driver was operating with a revoked registration.
