Blunt Talk on Marijuana: What Every Parent Needs To Know
Second In A Healthy Lynnfield's "Healthy Conversations, Healthy Kids" Series

A Healthy Lynnfield, an active community partnership working hard to prevent substance misuse and to ensure those impacted have the help they need, announces the second session in its new four-part series titled, “Healthy Conversations, Healthy Kids.” This one is titled, “Blunt Talk on Marijuana: What Every Parent Needs to Know.”
The session to be held on Wednesday, November10th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. will be led by Jordana Willers, Ed. M., Youth & Young Adult Training Coordinator for the Institute for Health and Recovery. Learn what Lynnfield parents and caregivers need to know about youth marijuana use. “The landscape of marijuana use has changed drastically over the past few years,” said Peg Sallade, Substance Use Prevention Coordinator, A Healthy Lynnfield. “It’s never too early to stay informed.”

- Brief overview of research on marijuana and the teenage brain, the perceived benefits, and the effects of use

- How to promote open, positive communication and healthier life choices
- Resources and supports for families
