Two off-duty police officers were at a Lynnfield party Sunday that took a tragic turn and ended in the shooting death of a 33-year-old man.

LYNNFIELD, MA - Two off-duty police officers were at a Lynnfield party Sunday that took a tragic turn and ended in the shooting death of a 33-year-old man, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.
"Two off-duty Boston Police officers were in attendance at the Lynnfield party during which a homicide occurred early Sunday morning," according to the statement. "The officers attended the party in a social capacity and are cooperating fully with the investigation by MA State Police and Lynnfield Police. The Boston Police Department is also cooperating with these agencies as part of the ongoing investigation."
Keivan Heath of Randolph was shot several times in the chest, according to police. The gathering was a college reunion party, according to the property owner. The home at 8 Needham Ave. is a mansion currently listed for sale at $3.35 million.
