Emergency Bridge Repairs On Route 95, Route 1 In Lynnfield

LYNNFIELD, MA — Emergency bridge repairs will require closing lanes and an exit ramp on Route 95 North and Route 1 in Lynnfield Monday night.

The state Department of Transportation said Monday afternoon the closures will begin at 8 p.m. on Monday and last until 5 a.m. on Tuesday. During that time, the left two lanes of Route 95 North will be closed, along with the Route 1 southbound ramp to Route 129 eastbound in Lynnfield.

The Route 1 ramp was reduced to one lane during Monday's afternoon commute prior to the full closure at 8.

The state DOT said during the ramp closure, traffic will be detoured to the Walnut Street exit in Saugus, then to Route 1 northbound and the Route 129 eastbound ramp.

Drivers who are traveling through the impacted areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
