Fire Victims Fund Established

The Lynn fire killed four people and was the worst in the city since 1999.

LYNN, MA. - A devastating fire in the early morning hours of Friday, Dec. 4, burned down a three-story apartment house in Lynn, killing four people and leaving many more homeless.

A new gofundme page from the Lynn Youth Street Outreach Advocacy has been set up to help raise money for the victims of the fire and their families.

“On the morning of Friday December 4th, a devestating fire burnt down a three story apartment on Bruce Place in Lynn, MA being the city’s deadliest fire since 1999. The fire left four killed, two seriously injured, and 18 now homeless. The victims were only able to escape with just the clothes on their backs. On behalf of the Lynn Youth Street Outreach Advocasy (LYSOA), we are kindly asking you to donate whatever you can to the victims of the Bruce Place fire. The funds will help the victims and their families provide burial services to those who passed, medical care for the injured, and the resources to help those who lost their home get back on their feet.”-- on the gofundme page created by Stephanie Starbard of Lynn.
