Kimball Thanks Town for Big Veterans Day Turnout
Lynnfield's Veterans Affairs Agent expresses his gratitude to all involved in this week's Veterans Day observance, which drew one of the largest turnouts in recent memory.

On Monday, the town held its annual Veterans Day observance ceremony - and one of the highlights was an exceptional turnout by local residents. In response, Lynnfield Veterans Affairs Agent John H. Kimball III provided the following statement thanking those who attended and participated in the ceremony to honor America's veterans:
The 2013 Lynnfield Veteran’s Day Ceremony saw the best turnout in many years. I recall at the 2008 Lynnfield Veteran’s Day Ceremony while I was filling in for the then Veteran’s Service Officer Neil Restani, there were about 200 people at the ceremony, which included those involved in the ceremony. Thank you to the many people who took the time to honor our veterans.
I specifically wish to thank Reverend Dennis Bailey, Police Chief David Breen and his Police Officers in attendance, Fire Chief Josh Lingel and his Firemen in attendance, The Lynnfield Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, The Lynnfield High School and Middle School Band who did an outstanding job performing, Selectmen, David Nelson and Tom Terranova, and our guest speaker, the Chairman of the Board of Selectman Phil Crawford and the many others who made this one of the more successful Veteran’s Day Ceremonies in recent years. Thank you.
