Lecture Series, and an Upcoming Play

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Thursday, November 7. Here are five things worth knowing today.

William C. Sano, an area musical educator, conductor and pianist and organist, will return to the Meeting House for a his lecture series entitled “Sisters Who Sing.” Sano’s lineup runs Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon with The McGuire Sisters on November 7, the Lennon Sisters on Nov. 14 and The Supremes on Nov. 21. 

From Thursday Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 24, Lynnfield High School presents the musical “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.” Click here for ticket info, show times, and other Lynnfield theatre information.

On the second and fourth Friday evening of the month, Lynnfield Community Church at 735 Salem Street holds a coffeehouse concert with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. This Friday night,  Sylvan Roots performs. Click here for the concert calendar.

From the Lynnfield Senior Center: Enjoy some hot coffee and pastry  with Kate Pendergast from Privatus Care for a discussion on the various choices that are clinically safe, socially appealing and financially appropriate, so that when a health care crisis arises, you can make an informed decision. Thurs, Nov. 14th at 10a. Free. Please sign up. Lunch is at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. Must sign up for lunch by noon day before.
