LYNNFIELD, MA — Traffic was backed up for miles on Route 1 after a two-vehicle crash resulted in a Market Basket tractor trailer jackknifing into a guardrail at the Lynnfield Tunnel, causing a fuel leak. Police said two people were sent to the hospital with unspecified injuries. A heavy-duty tow truck has removed the trailer, and Route 1 South has been reopened. One northbound lane remains closed for guardrail repair.
