Tickets Now Available For Stacee L. Monkiewicz Foundation Christmas Gala

Today is Thursday, Nov. 14. Here are five things worth knowing today.

The Stacee L. Monkiewicz Foundation has announced that its 2013 Christmas Gala is Saturday, Dec. 14 from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Over the past two years, this event has reportedly raised more than $48,000 for the goal of establishing a recreation center in Lynnfield. William C. Sano, an area musical educator, conductor and pianist and organist, continues his “Sisters Who Sing” lecture series this morning from 10 a.m. to noon at the Old Meeting House with stories about the Lennon Sisters. Next week, Nov. 21, Sano will discuss The Supremes. 

Speaking of the Lynnfield Library, today at 1 p.m. bring the kids by for a “pickle party” with stories about pickles, a pickle craft, and samples of various pickles.

The Lynnfield Senior Center has a new yoga dance class on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. Classes are $5 and the first class is reportedly free.
