Boston Common Good Samaritan is Malden Woman

MALDEN, MA - A good Samaritan who has been hanging coats and scarves for the needy on trees in Boston Common, Boston, is a woman from Malden, according to NewsCenter 5.

Rebekah Barrasso was identified by the news crew as the person who had been leaving dozens of scarves and warm gloves.

Barrasso posted a sign near the tree she hung scarves and other warm items, β€œThese are not lost. If you are stuck out in the cold, please take what you need to keep warm.”

City officials said the clothing will not be taken down as long as it is not damaging trees or park property, according to 7News/whdh.com.
