Brookline-Based Japanese Pub Expands Into Malden

MALDEN, MA — A Brookline-based Japanese pub has opened a second location in Malden.

Omori Izakaya & Sushi moved into the former home of Sousaku Bistro, which closed in May after six years on Eastern Avenue, Boston Restaurant Talk first reported.

The pub's menu includes gyoza, sushi, meat skewers, pork belly buns, sashimi and a host of lunch specials to pair with Japanese beers, cocktails and sake, Eater reported.

Omori Izakaya is located at 166 Eastern Avenue.
