Fatal Malden Shooting Under Investigation
A young man died after he was found shot in the chest in Malden early Tuesday morning, Middlesex DA Marian Ryan said.
MALDEN, MA — Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Malden early Tuesday. Around 12:10 a.m., police responded to a reported shooting in the area of Cross Street, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said.
Police found a man in his 20s with apparent gunshot wounds to his chest, the DA's office said. He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting is not believed to be random, the DA said. So far no arrests have been made.
