Malden Man Accused Of Stabbing Father To Death
Yassine Khaouda, 27, has been charged in the fatal stabbing of his father, Mohammed, in the parking garage of the Pleasant Plaza Apartments.
MALDEN, MA — Police have identified the suspect in a fatal stabbing in Malden early Wednesday.
Yassine Khaouda, 27, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of his father, 65-year-old Mohammed Khaouda, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said.
Police found the elder Khaouda with stab wounds in the parking garage of the Pleasant Plaza Apartments around 5:40 a.m., according to a statement from the district attorney. First responders attempted life-saving measures at the scene before Khaouda was taken to Melrose Wakefield Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities said Yassine Khaouda stabbed his father before fleeing to the apartment where the two lived. Police arrested him there Wednesday morning.
Khaouda also faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and assault and battery on a person over 60.
