Housing Families Inc and Bread of Life are co-hosting A Night of Caring: A Celebration to Help Those Less Fortunate. The event will be held on Thursday, March 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Irish American Hall, 177 West Street in Malden.  Tickets are $25 per person, with proceeds benefiting both organizations. This is the third annual collaboration hosted by Housing Families and Bread of Life.

The event includes dinner provided by Anthony’s Catering, silent auction items and raffles.  A highlight of the Night of Caring Celebration is compelling testimonials from clients who have been assisted by Housing Families and Bread of Life.

Jim Goebelbecker, CEO of Housing Families, recalls last year’s testimonials as very powerful. “Hearing the first hand account of a survivor from the trauma of being homeless as a child was inspirational and reinforced the need for local community support.”

Gary Christenson, Bread of Life Board President, reflects on the success of previous Night of Caring events and welcomes all community members to attend. “I have complete faith in my neighbors and my city that we will come together as we always do to help those less fortunate. It is this sense of community that makes me so proud to be from Malden. “
