Malden Adding Another Week Of Yard Waste Collection
Residents may set out their waste on their regular trash day, but should expect delays due to increased volume and a contractor shortage.
MALDEN, MA — The city of Malden is adding another week of yard waste collection this year, which will take place Nov. 29 through Dec. 3. This will be the final week of yard waste collection before the service is halted until the spring.
Residents should set out their yard waste on their regular trash day, but expect delays in collection due to increased volume. The city's contractor, JRM, has also said they are experiencing a resource shortage, which has delayed yard waste pickup.
Residents who have accumulated yard waste after the final week may bring it to the DPW Yard at 356 Commercial Street during their normal business hours, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
