Malden Eyes Moose Hall As Polling Place For New Precinct

The city created eight more precincts and three sub-precincts during its redistricting process last year.

MALDEN, MA — The city council will weigh using the Malden Moose Hall as a polling place for one of the city's new voting precincts.

The council will take up the matter at its March 1 meeting. If approved, the building at 562 Broadway would serve as the voting location for residents in the newly formed Ward 6, Precinct 3.

The precinct was one of eight precincts and three sub-precincts created during the city's redistricting process, which determines where people will vote for the next decade based on census data.
