Malden Man Sentenced For Inter-state Drug And Firearm Sales

The 29-year-old pled guilty to three different counts resulting in a prison sentence.

MALDEN, MA — A Malden resident has been sentenced to 10 months in prison on multiple drug and firearm charges.

29-year-old Kyle Taylor pled guilty to distributing methamphetamine, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and conspiring to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl. According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Taylor illegally sold more than 400 fentanyl pills, 25 grams of fentanyl powder, and two firearms to a person in Rensselaer County, New York between September 2023 and January 2024.

In addition to the New York Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Brookline and Cambridge Police Departments contributed to Taylor’s conviction.
