• Malden Receives Multiple State Grants To Fund Recreational Programs (patch.com) — Malden has just secured nearly $30,000 in state grants to expand local outdoor recreation, including programs tailored for residents with mobility challenges and low-cost youth activities. One grant backs the Outdoor Recreation as Medicine initiative run by local business First Seed Sown, while another supports the Great Malden Outdoors programs like rock climbing and birding, all accessible by public transit and with financial flexibility.
