Malden Mayor Seeking Three Members To Fill Council On Aging Vacancies

MALDEN, MA – Malden Mayor Gary Christenson is looking to fill three vacancies on the Malden Council on Aging, according to a news release.

The Council on Aging is made up of seven members appointed by the Mayor who advocate on behalf of older adults in Malden.

Members serve three-year terms and meet monthly (a day and time is yet to be determined) to work with other city departments to address seniors’ concerns and recommend ways to enhance the lives of older adults in Malden.

Interested applicants are asked to complete the online Boards and Commissions Application. Paper applications can be requested by emailing kmanninghall@cityofmalden.org or calling 781-397-7000 Ext. 2004.

The deadline to submit applications is March 29 at 5 p.m.
