Malden Police Seize Dangerous Drug Dyed A Different Color
Two officers seized two bags of potentially deadly fentanyl.

MALDEN, MA — The police department is warning the community after encountering a dangerous altered drug during an investigation.
Officers Cam Selfridge and Blake Ferry seized a sizable amount of fentanyl during an operation on Wednesday that had been tinted purple. According to the department, drug dealers may color fentanyl for marketing purposes or to attract younger users. Two large plastic bags of the purple substance was apprehended.
