Prostitution Charges: Malden Woman Arrested
The woman is accused of engaging in prostitution through her work at spa in Maynard.
MALDEN, MA — A resident was arrested at her place of work this week on prostitution charges, according to a report from NBC 10 Boston.
Jianping Wu, 68, was officially charged with deriving support from prostitution, inducing prostitution on premises, keeping a house of prostitution, and engaging in sexual conduct for a fee. She was an employee of an Asian Spa in Maynard and was arrested for alleged activities taking place with the business. Maynard Police Chief Christopher Troaino said his department was made aware of possible illegal activity taking place at the business due to multiple reports from concerned community members.
One other employee was also charged.
